MACD Signal Line (MACDSL)
MACD Signal Line is the Exponential Moving Average of MACD. This indicator is also known as the Slow Line and is commonly used together with the MACD (Fast Line) indicator. When the Fast Line rises above the Slow Line, it is a signal to go Long. When the Fast Line falls below the Slow Line, it is a signal to go Short. Period is the slow EMA period, Period 2 is the fast EMA period and Period 3 is the MACD EMA period.Back to Technical Analysis Software main page.
